Wokingham pub history index
Originally three cottages, the Duke's Head
was first mentioned as a public house in 1795.
In Denmark Street in 1907 & before. By 2011, the two entrance doors of 1901
have been blocked up and a modern entrance made on the left of the building.
The yard of the present public house contains a 200-year old building, now
restored for use as a skittle alley. *
