My great grandfather was Alfred Eltham, he was landlord of the Morning Star from the late 1890's until his death in 1914. His wife (my great grandmother, Elizabeth) carried on running the pub until her death in 1924. My grandfather (Heber Eltham) took over as landlord after that and carried on until the late 1940's.  *
The Railway hotel in Cholsey was run by Hungerford Eltham (my great uncle - Heber's brother). The Railway Hotel was renamed the Brentford Tailor for a while - after the original one had closed. *
