Cookham pub history index
There is still a licensed premises on this site which is now called the Bounty (2015), prior to that it was called the Moorings. A great pub on the River Thames, there is no road so you walk or go by boat. It is in the Good Pub Guide, they also have a Facebook Page under The Bounty Bar. The floor in the dining room is the original dance floor from the Quarry Hotel; it has to be one of the quirkiest pubs that does a great trade. Very popular with dog walkers and boaters. Great atmosphere. *
