The first record we found was the birth of daughter Hilda at the George &
Dragon in 1910. Charlotte & John Hibberd are on the 1911 census at The
George & Dragon. John Hibberd died 1937 (no mention of the pub on his death
cert- just Swallowfield). *
( Charlotte's parent's :- Charles & Priscilla Durman were running The Angel
Inn, North Curry Somerset on the 1911 census, Charles died at the Angel Inn
in 1912 at the young age of 54 years - on earlier records Charles had been
Gamekeeper around the Somerset Villages). *
