Linslade pub history index
This pub is thought to have been established in around 1838 and was originally called the Swan. It took the name Railway Hotel at some time shortly after 1877, after an earlier Railway Hotel was renamed the Hunt Hotel. The pub was rebuilt in around 1900 and was gutted by fire in the mid-1990s. It remains derelict as a result of the fire. **
