Recent bride at Thame parish church was Miss Patricia Ann Walker, daughter of Mrs V M Walker, of 89 High street, Thame, whose family are well known in Aylesbury. Miss Walkers grandfather, Mr Chilton, and his family owned the Crown at Little Kimble for over 60 years.

Kimble residents will be sorry to hear that Mr Walter George Walton is leavibg the Crown, Little Kimble, where he has been host for 14 years. He has also been active concerned with the cricket club and British Legion.
At Aylesbury court on Tuesday a protection order was made, New host is to be Mr G Cook, of Leamington Spa.

Thomas Arthur Gomarsall. On October 24 1987, at Cherwood House Nursing Home, Bicester, aged 85 years. Prominent member of the Royal Naval Association, Aylesbury district during the 1950s and 1960s. Formerly of the Green Man, Prestwood; Two Brewers, Wendover and the Crown, Little Kimble.
