My parents Sonia and Stanley C L Hoddy ran the above pub from about 1944. *
The pub was owned by A.B.C. brewery, my father died in 1960 my mother took over running the pub.
When my mother died Nick took over the pub. It is now a freehold pub and my niece now runs it. It has been in the same family for 78 years.
