My father’s brother Cyril Mark Smith was a butcher in Burwell. In 1940 he married Emily the fourth daughter of Christopher K Potter who was the inn keeper at the Anchor. In 1939 at the enumeration (similar to a census) she was shown living there with two of her three sisters. I had the impression Emm brought some money to the marriage. *
