On my mothers side, William Edwards, my Great Great Grandfather was the
publican, and his daughter Jane married Simon Childerley who took it over.
Previously William's parents run the pub, (Henry & Lydia) but died of
typhoid in 1844, aged 44. Father of Lydia took over upon their death,
Richard Scott. I think various people helped out until William took over.
