I see you have my ancestor, William Rowe, at the Dock Hotel in 1891.
On the 1881 census, he was at the Falmouth Hotel Tap.
William's son John lived next door in 1891 and 1901; when thee 1901 census says William was a “store keeper for a brewery company”
and living near the Hotel. I’d like to know more about how these
types businesses commonly operated at the turn of the last century. *
