My family took ownership of this building at some point in the early 1900’s (pre-1920) and started a musical instrument and sheet music retail business; which later sold electrical items and giftware (G.H. Priestley Ltd).
It stayed in the family until the early 2000’s, I was the fifth generation to work there and can vouch for the authenticity of the picture.
The building is no longer owned by my family and is now a mobile phone shop.
