HUSSEY and SON, at the HALF MOON INN, Exeter, on FRIDAY, the 27th of MARCH, 1857, at Three for Four o'Clock in the Afternoon precisely, subject to such conditions as will be produced, the Fee-simple and Inheritance of a compact and desirable overland ESTATE, called HOLMINGCLEAVE, in the parish of Collumpton, Devon, about half-a-mile from the town towards Tiverton. The property consists of 23A.2R.8P. of Land, of which 21A.2R.14P. are Arable, and the rest orchard the whole in possession of Mr. D. B. Sellwood. Possession may be had at Michaelmas next. For viewing the Premises apply to Mr. D. B. SELLWOOD, in Collumpton; and for further particulars, to the AUCTIONEERS; Mr. JOHN GOULD, Poltimore; or Mr. GIDLEY, Solicitor, Exeter. EPGDT - 21.11.1883 p 4 Petty Sessions. Rev John George Sydenham of Cullompton, who did not appear, was summoned for drunk and disorderly. He entered Mr Foster’s chemist shop v drunk and abusive. A witness saw Rev Sydenham ‘reeling about the footpath drunk; he afterwards entered the Half Moon Inn. Fined 20s. Alexander Elliot, landlord of the Half Moon Inn, fined for selling whisky to Rev Sydenham whilst intoxicated, fined 20s. *
