My grandfather Albert Cutler owned this pub,along with his wife Margharetta Bessie, they had 9 children,one of which was my mother Melecina
I can remember my grandmother telling me that Augustus John,the artist often came there,and actually painted a scene on one of the walls. Now long gone of course. *
I found the name Bradford interesting as it was my grandmothers maiden name. *
The 1911 census lists John Cutler, a bricklayer aged 62, his wife Lucy Cutler aged 64 and Albert Cutler, a bricklayer aged 22. There is also a 5 year old visitor called Louisa Bartlett
There is a marriage listed in Wimborne on 16th November 1912 between Albert Cutler aged 24, and a Margaretta Bessie Bradford aged 27. Her father is James Bradford, a Licensed victualler. Both list the Horns, West Parley as their residence.
