Kings Head, Billericay:- George Gray, occupier; George Mead, owner, in 1765. The Kings Head was mentioned in the Survey of Billericay in 1765, when it occupied a site to the south (Post Office) side of the Kings Arms; when George Gray is the occupier; and George Mead is the owner, in 1765. It is mentioned until 1765, but not listed in alehouse recognizances of 1769. It is not mentioned in 1769 nor in the 1738 Survey.
