In 2017 this is a Star Inn, part of the Heineken group. It still exists in 2025, and was basically a

th century building with a Central Hall and North and South crosswings. The Inn, however, was opened at a much later date, the earliest mention was in 1765, when Sarah Peacock was the licensee.
When it was adapted for use as an Inn it was completely altered internally, and remains as an Inn with charm and character.
