Royal Oak, Billericay

This beerhouse was formerly a Quaker meeting house. In around 1848, the meeting house was sold and converted to the Royal Oak beerhouse. It lasted until 1903, when it was demolished to make way for the Elizabeth House near Kitts in the High street.
