It appears that the Star was delicensed around the turn of the 20th century
and turned into a farm, Star House, by 1925. Known as Star Farm in 1949 and
currently Starr House. The old outbuildings were demolished and the Starr
Garage built, but this has now been closed.
With thanks to Patrick M. Meads, the owner in October 2000, who's father
bought the premises in 1949.
