The history of the Peterboat goes back even further in the Osborne Family -
John Osborne was admitted in 1695 and his grandson took over in 1739 and is
the first John on your list. This information is from 'The Manor of Leigh'
by H W King in the record office and Benton's history of the Rochford
Hundred.
