Lesses and occupiers - Joseph Woodcock and Thomas Hodges (Robert Partridge their pub lessee). from Lady Day 1817 for 10 years at £30 per annum. ***

Also know as the Old Cock and the Orsett Cock. House rebuilt and reopened in 1930
