David Richardson asked the Essex Licensing Commnittee to consent to the conversion of the Club House, West Thurrock into an on-beerhouse. In explanation, the house belonged to Mr Gibbs, cement manufacturer, who by having an on-licence would rather have his employees take their beer in the house rather than in the lanes and byeways. He offered to surrender in exchange a beer on-licence at North Ockendon - Agreed to.
