Wivenhoe pub history index
Built in 1750, but currently a private dwelling. The Beehive was a Cobbold (Colchester) and then Colchester Brewing Co. pub. After Catt's departure it remained open under Charles Hadley until 1910. The property was sold off by the brewery for £150 in 1917.
