Stroud pub history index
Named as the Target Inn, in the 1911 census and also in 1939. In 1901, it may be called the New Inn, Bisley road, as this is where Albert Hogg is the licensee; and in 1891 he is listed at the Conygre Inn, in Bisley road. I believe these are all the same property.
The Target Inn became a private residence in 1983.
Directory of Pubs in the UK, historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in Gloucestershire. The Gloucestershire listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.
