Tewkesbury pub history index
Reportedly dated to 1308, this is Gloucestershire's oldest inn though the current building is predominantly early 16th century. Currently (mid-August 2017) known as Ye Olde Black Bear. A West Country Ales brewery plaque can be seen to the left of the east entrance. Grade II*-listed. *
