Railway Hotel Swanwwick, to Horatio Yearsley

By 1891 Horatio and his family had moved on from the Half Moon Inn and he was now publican of the Railway Hotel, Swanwick, Hampshire. The railway station at Swanwick (which remains open today) is actually located in Park Gate in the parish of Titchfield, Hampshire. *
The station opened on 2 September 1889 and I think it is safe to assume that the Railway hotel was opened around the same time. I can now confirm that it remains today renamed as the Village Inn in Park Gate. The proof of its location was found on a 1909 OS Map (attached). This clearly shows the hotel just South of the railway (the station is just out of view of this map). A contemporary map shows the location of the Village Inn today.
