Bevois Valley dates from early 1870s; it was first registered as a Beer House when Llewelyn Lovatt was the Landlord. Eldridge Pope�s Dorchester Brewery purchased it on 29th September 1927, after having leased it from March 1914 it has been modernised and is now a free house called Sobar. *
