W Beuns was landlord of this fully licensed Forderís Hampton Court Brewery pub in the 1860ís, it was one of six consecutive pubs in Albert Road, it was refused a licence in 1925 and became a private residence until being demolished in the 1960ís a half completed bankrupt building site now occupies its site.
Other Names: Calshot Castle, owned by the Hampton Court Brewery.
Notoriety: August 1916 saw landlord Mr Crouch fined £1 for selling intoxicating liquor outside permitted hours, whilst in 1921 landlord Mr Baker was fined £1 for selling whiskey in an unsealed container to a child. *
