Dating back to the 1860’s with a one Ann Swaffield as landlady of this fully licensed Forder’s Hampton Court Brewery. Brickwood’s Brewery acquired the premise in 1925 before being transferred to Whitbread’s Brewery when they acquired Brickwood’s Brewery in 1971. It was sold on to the Gibbs Mew Salisbury Brewery, it closed for a period of time but has reopened as a free house renamed The Joshua Tree. * The earlier address is at 102 Millbank Street according to the 1911 census summary and in 1881 census
