Dating back to 1860’s this beer house had come under the ownership of Barlow’s Victoria Brewery by the early 1900’s, it came under Brickwood’s Brewery ownership when they purchased Barlow’s Victoria Brewery, it was granted a full licence on 1st July 1965, but closed later that year, it demolished shortly afterwards as part of the redevelopment of the Chapel area.
