Southampton pub history index
Dating back to the early 1870’s when C Wright was the
landlord. The premises were owned by Barlow’s Victoria Brewery in the early
1900’s before transferring to Brickwood’s Brewery and finally Whitbread’s in
1971. Landlord J Allen was fined £1 for serving a drunken person in 1914.
