This Brickwood’s Brewery pub which opened in the early 1960’s replaced the Hampton Court Brewery Bar, which was attached to the Hampton Court Brewery which stood very near this site. It was taken over by Whitbread’s Brewery in 1971 when they acquired Brickwood’s, the pub closed about 2005 and was demolished to be replaced by flats when the end of Castle Lane was built over. *
