A Furneaux Pelham House
The Black Horse, Furneaux Pelham, a beer ON with licensee William Walker, and Owners Rayment and Co, Furneaux Pelham, the amount of compensation claimed was £362 12s. Mr Flints valuation was £266 14s, and he advised settlement at £270.It should be divided with £269 fir the owners, and £10 for the licensee. The tenant then said he had paid £20 to go into the house. The Act stated he should receive full compensation.
It was stated that Mr Walker had been in the house 18 years and the committee decided he should receive £15 and the owners £255.
