At the Cricketers Arms, West Common, Harpenden, Kelly’s Directories shown Morris Leal as Landlord up to 1917 edition. It was closed on 28 December 1917, when ‘posh’ neighbour Theodora Wilson bought it with the sole purpose of closing it. *
