My grandfather Colin Lees, from 23 February 1911 until 4 April 1912, was the Publican of the Three Tuns, Hertford. I found this information in the County Records in Hertford. I attach a photo taken of my Grandfather (on the left) with his staff, one of whom is my Grandmother. The photo dates from 1911 or 1912. *

My Grandfather, Colin Lees, passed on the licence as Publican to William Stanley Ellis who is listed on the website.
My father lived there with his sisters and went to school nearby. The family later moved to Hunsdon. *
