William Colwell was Publican here from about 1906 or 1907 until his death in 1914. His wife Annie Colwell probably took over at the time of his death. She remarried in 1916 to a Herbert Hillyard and thus carried on under the name Annie Hillyard until sometime between 1922 and 1926; at which time her son William Colwell took over as Publican. He was apparently Publican there until sometime between 1929 and 1933.  **
