My grandfather was William (Bill) C Dean and he was tenant landlord for
Benskins from 1945 (aged 34) until 1952 (aged 41) at the Five Horseshoes,
Hoddesdon. They then moved directly to the
White Hart in Berkhamsted
where he stayed until 1965 when he left due to ill health. *+
