Queens Head (Amwell Street) - sometimes referred to as Old Queens Head to distinguish it from an earlier Queens Head in the High Street. It closed by 1973 and was demolished when Amwell Street was widened (see Crown above). *** The Queen's Head relocated from the High Street to Amwell Street in 1852, the old building became known as Myddleton House. *
