I lived with my Grandmother Daisy Pea at The Old George Puckeridge until it closed in the 50's. At present I am researching my family tree I have found on 1871 census that my 2 times Great Grandfather Alfred Pea and his wife Ann and my Great Grandfather Samuel Pea were residents in the Anchor public house Puckeridge *
In 1939 at the Old George are :
Zachariah Pea, Master Coal Merchant, born 30 Sep 1887
Daisy H Pea, Domestic Duties, born 09 Apr 1893
