The picture was taken by a Cambridge photographer for the owners at the time
Hawks Brewery, later this brewery was bought by Benskins. My grandfather,
Frederick William Mingay took over as landlord in 1926 and stayed there
until it was pulled down for road improvement in around 1963/1964. ***
