George Cambridge b.1835 Stonehouse Gloucester. d. 1895 The Two Brewers Inn
St. Albans Herts. was my great-grandfather, and he was Publican of the Two
Brewers from 1861-1895; in the 1861 census he was a bricklayer in Harriet
Street, Fulham. His wife Jane also died in 1895 at the Two Brewers
Inn, on the 15th May as reported in a local newspaper. ***
Enclosed is a photograph of George and Jane(known as Elvira) and their
eldest daughter Rhoda Maria b. 1853. Second photo is Anne Agnes Cambridge b.
1873 youngest daughter. Third photo is the Two Brewers today now half the
old Pub is a Kebab shop, and the maltings next door is now a dwelling. ***
