Railway Tavern, 8 Station Road, St Margarets, Ware, Hertfordshire

It appears that the pub bore several names during its history, among them: The Railway Tavern, The Railway Hotel, The Railway Inn and was called the "Jolly Fisherman" at the time of the Queen's coronation in 1953. ***

Note the house to the left of the pub. My Uncle, Mr. William Heesom lived there. He managed the French & Jupps maltings located directly behind the house. The maltings were razed a number of years ago and a park now occupies the space.
