Listed in 1859 as Vectis Inn & Railway Tavern. This pub also had a rear entrance on to Carvel Lane, facing the railway station, and on the strength of this also traded as the Railway Tavern.
It closed in around 1927 and the building was destroyed by World War Two bombing. **
