ACOL, sometimes called WOOD, is in Ringslow hundred, Thanet Isle and union, lathe of St. Augustine, East Kent. It is a member of the Cinque Port liberty of Dover; two miles north of Minster station, 14 miles from Canterbury. The population in 1851 was 254. Cleve Court is half a mile S.E.
