BOBBING is a parish, one mile N.W: of Sittingbourne, and 10 from Rochester. The population in 1851 was 411. The church is very ancient. The living is a vicarage, in the patronage of the Rev. G. Simpson, and incumbency of the Rev. G. S. Simpson. Key Street is on Watling Street, three quarters of a mile S.W.; Rose Hill is half a mile S.W.; Merchant Street, half a mile west; Norwood, one mile and a quarter west.

which is also the nearest Money Order Office.
