1903, George Gore Epps, Rose & Crown, 132 High street & 30 Market square
Bromley and West Kent Telegraph. 10 March 1906 - Cases for compensation in Bromley.
The Rose and Crown was not under good supervision from a police point of view because of its construction. It was a sall house, very old, and the internal arrangements appeared to be bad because it had got entrances on both sides. The present licensee had been there ten years.
Mr Epps, the landlord, said he had two clubs at the house. He had no difficulty in supervising the premises.
License to be renewed provisionally with a recommendation for compensation.
