COLDRED, sometimes styled COLRET, is a small village in Dover union, Bewsborcragh hundred, lathe of St. Augustine, East Kent, seven miles N.W. of Dover. The population in 1851 was 182. The church of St. Pancras is a small, mean building. The living is a vicarage, in the patronage of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and incumbency of the Rev. Frederick T. Scott, M.A. Luck Hall and Singlidge are one mile and a half S.E.

Letters received through Dover, which is also the nearest Money Order Office.
