Tivoli Tavern, 91 Windmill Street, Gravesend

The first record of a pub on this site was the Windmill, established by 1600. This had been renamed (or replaced by) the Red Lion by 1633; which in turn had given way to the Blue House by the beginning of the nineteenth century. Renamed the Tivoli Tavern in 1830, the pub closed in around 1855, later becoming a school.  **
