Melvilles 1858 Directory of Kent.
HARRIETSHAM is a parish, seven miles east from Maidstone, and two west from
Lenham, in the lathe of Aylesford, Eyharne hundred, and Hollingbourn union. The
church is an ancient edifice, with tower and eight bells. Rev. J. C. B. Riddell
is the rector, and Rev. Julian Pratt, curate.
POST-OFFICE. - W. Bottle, Receiver. The nearest Money Order Office is at
