KIDBROOKE is a small parish in Blackheath hundred, and Lewisham union, West
Kent. The population in 1851 was 460. It consists of two hamlets, Lower
Kidbrooke and Watling Street, half a mile south of Charlton, and Upper Kidbrooke,
on the cross road to Eltham.
