My Parents Mr & Mrs Bush (Ian & Jean) were the Landlords of the Pub during the 1960s. (1962-1971) After they left, it ceased to be a Pub. *
An interesting fact is that Peter, Bill & Frank Brake were regulars and asked my Dad if they could store frozen Chickens in the Barn which was part of the property. They went on to start Brake Brothers which later became Brakes the Catering suppliers. One of our neighbours Yvonne Garbutt worked in the Office and her Husband Alan designed their first livery of two crossed Chefs Hats.
