I am currently looking into the story of my Great Uncle, Charles Wickham, who was killed in the First World War. He married in 1910, in Wandsworth, and emigrated to Australia, leaving his wife, Ethel (nee Cornick), to give birth to their daughter Doris on 6th April 1911 at the Brown Jug Pub, where she is listed as a visitor on 2nd April. *
